Welcome!

During March 2011, I reached a turning point in my spiritual journey. As the Arctic Avenue transformed into the Muddy Mile, I walked with and whistled for our family's hunting dog. Somewhere along that trek, I realized God has been similarly walking with and whistling for me. And, just as Moose gets distracted by rabbits and rodents on his daily constitutionals, so too do I find contingent paths from those my Master has in mind for me. I considered an "Along Life's Road" post entitled "When God Whistles," but then I realized the title was more fitting as a fresh start for spiritual musings. May this collection bless you.

I grew up on a central-MN farm. My sixth-grade teacher instilled in me a passion for writing. Reporting home on life in Norway as a high-school Rotary exchange student launched my interest in pursuing a B.A. in journalism followed by newspaper reporting, accounting work, stay-home parenting three sons and freelance writing.
